Additional notes from the Wiz: The entire reason Halcyon Tapes exists is to provide a platform for inspiring new vaporwave and electroninc artists to break into the real of physical medium. For this reason, when I came across Mothmanlive's titular guide on the vaporwave subreddit I knew that this was a group of artists that I wanted to work with.

This immense set of tracks encompasses the talent, craftsmanship, and most importantly the passion for music production that will be carrying the genre forward in the upcoming year. It stands as a defining testament against those jaded few who say the genre is dead and I'm so happy to have been involved in it. -Wiz
