マクロスプラス (Macross Plus) was a huge inspiration to me as a teenager. It was a ground-breaking combination of traditional cel- and computer-generated animation at the time of its release, and it stood out to me for its unique depth of character that existed levels beyond what it's genre contemporaries were striving for.

With PLUS, I found inspiration from seemingly inane and forgotten media and give it depth beyond its surface appeal. In the same vein as the four episode OVA, this album is meant to evoke feelings of airborne memory; feelings of bliss that paint the past in a forgiving light. There's always something worth going back to, and there's always something to learn from it.
